Meet Aphrodite: A More Thoughtful Way to Support a Practice

Conceptual med spa reception with a blush desk, burgundy chair and warm metallic details

A beautiful client experience goes beyond what happens in the treatment room. It includes the first question someone asks, the response they receive, and the follow-up that helps them feel remembered.

Hello,

For a busy beauty or wellness practice, those moments take attention. Inquiries arrive while the team is helping clients. Conversations move between channels. Someone needs a reply, another person needs a follow-up, and the team needs to know what has already been handled.

That is the challenge behind Aphrodite, a platform I’m co-founding to help beauty and wellness practices organize client communication and everyday workflows.

A clearer picture of what happens next

Aphrodite’s purpose is to connect the client-facing experience with the team’s daily work: keeping inquiries, communications, and appointment follow-up organized so the next step is easier to see.

Imagine a prospective client asking about a service. Before recommending anything, a team member may need to understand the question, provide appropriate information, and arrange a conversation with the right person. If another team member takes over, having that context matters.

That is the kind of continuity we’re working toward—helping teams see who needs attention and where a conversation stands.

Technology with a human purpose

My perspective comes from more than 30 years in beauty and wellness, beginning with MAC Cosmetics and later helping launch and run plastic-surgery practices. Throughout that experience, I’ve seen how much the details of communication shape someone’s impression of a business.

A prompt response matters. So does an accurate one. Following up matters, but the message should make sense for the person receiving it.

Those are the principles shaping Aphrodite. Thoughtful technology should give a team more room to listen, respond, and build relationships.

For beauty and wellness practices, that also means respecting the boundary between administrative support and clinical care. Questions about treatment decisions belong with qualified professionals.

Where Aphrodite is today

Aphrodite is still developing, and the public demo offers a look at the direction we’re taking. It is a prototype, rather than a promise that every feature is available for a working practice today.

As we build, the questions that matter are practical: Can the team understand what needs attention? Is the information clear? Does the workflow support a considerate experience for the client?

I’m excited to share this part of my work with you—and to hear which everyday communication challenges your practice would most like to solve.

With love,

Limor
